Reclaiming damaged, stolen, or neglected Life-qualities means so much more than merely giving up on crime.

Some Life-qualities: Respect for self and others/openness/honesty/ communication/empathy/accepting total responsibility/self-control/ forgiveness/generosity/hope/ patience/ sharing/ forethought/ emotional intelligence/gratitude/politeness/ health and cleanliness, etc.

A good start at recovery can be made by making a to-do-list of Life-qualities that you (or/and any trusted people) think could be improved upon.

Once you have your to-do list, start to reclaim those Life-qualities by creating a quality recovery space. The recovery space is made up of the amount of time, say, from a minute to an hour or so each day, when you can practice bringing those Life-qualities into your lifestyle.

Note: Just like any physical or emotional rehabilitation, moral rehabilitation can take time, so try not to be impatient - i.e. impatience can too often lead to painful and costly mistakes, and even it doesn’t – it will still make it seem too ******* slow!

Daily exercise: Practice one or more Life-qualities each day.
